NYU Cyber Fellows (Cybersecurity, M.S)

30 Credits

NYU Tandon School of Engineering’s NYU Cyber Fellows program offers a 75% discount towards tuition for our elite, entirely online Cybersecurity Master’s Degree. Thanks to generous support, this first-of-its-kind program will be offered for an affordable price and will include access to a hands-on virtual lab, industry collaborations, partner-reviewed curriculum, exclusive speaker events, and peer mentors.

Management of Technology, M.S.

36 Credits

Successful managers need to keep up with the rapid pace of technological advances and ensure they get the most out of the technology they implement. NYU Tandon School of Engineering’s Online Management of Technology Master’s Degree (MOT) program prepares students for management and leadership roles. You will learn how to work with people, processes and tools to best utilize technologies with accelerated product life cycles, seek innovation from diverse sources, and compete globally.

Mandatory Core (18 Credits), Tech Management Core (9 Credits), Electives (6 Credits), and Capstone Experience (3 Credits)

Bioinformatics, M.S.

30 Credits

NYU Tandon School of Engineering’s Online Bioinformatics Master’s Degree Program prepares students to manage and study data from the explosion of information from the life sciences. Rapidly increasing knowledge of the molecular biology of the cell led to bioinformatics, a new discipline that transforms traditional biology into information science including: Algorithms and Data Structures for Bioinformatics, Biology and Biotechnology for Bioinformatics, and Machine Learning and Data Science for Bioinformatics.

Required Courses (18 Credits), Concentration (6 Credits), and Electives (6 Credits)

Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy, M.S.

30 Credits

Offered jointly by NYU School of Law and NYU Tandon School of Engineering, the MS in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy is a one-year program intended for experienced professionals from a range of backgrounds who seek to deepen their understanding of cybersecurity risk and strategy. Cybersecurity – both prevention and response – frequently requires coordination between public and private sector organizations and expertise in technology, law and policy. This program will create managers with the integrated expertise needed to play a leadership role in the field.

Please note that the tuition discount is not applicable to the joint NYU Law-NYU Tandon Master of Science in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy Program (MS CRS). The MS CRS Program is proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon.

NYU Tandon Bridge


Created for individuals with non-engineering backgrounds, the rigorous, single-course NYU Tandon Bridge program helps you gain the math, science or engineering knowledge in preparation for your application to an NYU Tandon School of Engineering graduate program. Complete this program 100% online. Students who perform well in this program are eligible to be admitted to a qualifying master’s program.

*Note: NYU Cyber Fellows applicants benefit from a streamlined review process that differs slightly from the one above. Choose online M.S. in Cybersecurity and answer YES to the question about ‘applying for NYU Cyber Fellows’. Applicants are required to submit a statement of 250 words and name 2 references rather than submit letters of recommendation. Cyber Fellow applicants can expect to receive a decision in 15 business days.
